ACT 3 Act 3 Scene 1(Video Summary) + Viola goes to see Olivia again. She enjoys word play with the Fool on her way. + Olivia speaks to Cesario privately, and confesses her love. + Viola tries to be polite but has to set down Olivia harshly. Act 3 Scene 2 (Video Summary) + Sir Andrew saw Olivia's feelings towards Cesario. A very upsetting moment for him. + Sir Toby convinces him that the only way to win Olivia affection now is to fight Cesario. He runs off to write a letter to Cesario challenging him in a fight. + Maria enters, and says their prank upon Malvolio is about to come to fruition. Act 3 Scene 3 (Video Summary) + Antonio has followed Sebastian to Illyria even though it is a risk to his safety. + Sebastian wants to be a tourist, so Antonio gives him his wallet and all his money. Act 3 Scene 4 (Video Summary) + Olivia is planning on how to woo Cesario. In a sober mood she calls for Malvolio, her sober servant. ++ However, Malvolio appears in yellow socks, smiling and cheerful. Following exactly the orders of the letter he found in the garden. His comments quoting the letter make no sense to Olivia, who of course, has no idea what he is taking about. + Olivia leaves to meet Cesario again and tells Sir Toby to watch over Malvolio. ++ Sir Toby plays with words and makes Malvolio out to be possessed, then orders him to be taken to a dark room and be tied up. + Sir Andrew enters with his fighting letter to Cesario. ++ Sir Toby reads the letter and decides that he must give Cesario a verbal challenge because the letter is not scary at all. + Olivia and Viola/Cesario re-enter. Olivia is still courting Cesario who will not have her. + Toby and Fabian go back and forth between Sir Andrew and Cesario trying to get them to fight each other. Neither Sir Andrew or Cesario really want to fight, but they each believe the other means to kill them. ++ As they start to fight, Antonio enters. He defends Cesario, mistaking him for Sebastian. + Two officers enter and recognizing Antonio arrest him. Antonio begs "Sebastian" for his wallet back, since he'll need bail money. However, Cesario doesn't have his wallet and is very confused. +The scene ends with Sir Andrew promising to follow Cesario and beat him up. While Viola wonders if her brother might possibly be alive.
